Your training focuses on understanding oxygen exposure, analysing Nitrox cylinders, and correctly setting your dive computer.

  • Experience the benefits of diving with enriched air, also known as Nitrox or EANx, at Pineapple Dive Club. By reducing the amount of nitrogen in your breathing gas compared to normal air, Nitrox allows divers to stay within their no-decompression limits for longer at certain depths, often meaning longer dives and shorter surface intervals.

    Guided by Alex, our experienced instructor, you’ll learn how Nitrox works, why it can extend dive time, and how to use it safely and confidently. The course is relaxed, informative, and designed to slot naturally into your diving, whether you’re travelling, diving regularly, or looking to get more out of your time underwater in Cyprus.

Enriched Air Nitrox (often called Nitrox or EANx) is a breathing gas with a higher oxygen content than normal air. By reducing the amount of nitrogen you breathe, divers can safely stay at certain depths for longer periods without exceeding their decompression limits.

Surface intervals between dives can also be shorter, making Nitrox ideal for repetitive dives and deeper diving. This course teaches you how to plan and safely dive.

Training is broken down into manageable, easy-to-follow steps. You’ll learn how to analyse Nitrox cylinders, understand oxygen exposure, and correctly set your dive computer.


With small groups or one-to-one instruction, your training adapts to you, not the other way around. There’s no pressure to keep up, only support to move forward comfortably.

Nitrox is widely used on liveaboards, wreck dives, and multi-day dive trips, allowing you to stay underwater longer and dive more comfortably. It’s also a solid foundation for further training and more advanced diving experiences.

  • Our waters range from 18 degrees in the winter right up to 32 degrees in the summer!

  • Yes, we have the latest GoPro and take it on all dives. Once we see your comfortable and relaxed, we will capture some photos and videos for you to remember your experience. We send these to you free of charge!

  • Four people. This keeps the group small, intimate and most importantly safe.

  • We don’t boast a huge dive centre, and we’re proud of that. Doing things differently is exactly the point.

    Through trusted partnerships with some of the best centres and providers on the island, we’re able to offer everything a large operation can, tanks, gas refills, boats, full equipment hire and even gear if you’re looking to buy. You get all the resources, without the conveyor belt feeling.

    Some centres advertise a low headline price, then add tax, surcharges or equipment rental when you arrive. It might look cheaper at first glance, but once everything is added on, it rarely is. We prefer to keep things clear from the start, no surprises at checkout.

    Alex completes an annual dive medical to ensure he’s fit to teach and guide, and we maintain up-to-date professional insurance with DAN for added protection and peace of mind. We’re fully registered, qualified and bring years of hands-on experience to every dive and course we run.
