With crystal-clear waters, excellent visibility and warm Mediterranean temperatures year-round, diving in Cyprus is ideal for beginners. Our local dive sites include Green Bay in Protaras, where you may spot resident loggerhead turtles, MUSAN, the museum of underwater sculpture and other stunning dive sites nearby.

Good to Know

Our 3 shore dive day takes around 6-8 hours, and we always go at your pace.

Open to divers aged 15 and over.

Cert dependant, your max dive depth will be between 10 & 40 meters.

This experience will take you on 3 shore dives on the east coast of Cyprus.

Divers of all certifications are welcome!

What You’ll Learn

If you’ve never tried scuba diving before, Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect introduction.

You’ll learn the basics of scuba diving in a calm, supportive environment, including how to use the equipment, breathe underwater and move comfortably beneath the surface. With clear Mediterranean waters and excellent visibility, Cyprus is an ideal place for beginner divers.

No experience needed, just curiosity and a sense of adventure.

About Discover Scuba

No previous scuba diving experience is needed. Discover Scuba Diving is designed for anyone curious about what it’s like to breathe underwater, without committing to a full scuba certification.

You’ll start with a relaxed briefing and scuba equipment fitting, followed by simple skills in shallow water. Once you’re comfortable, you’ll enjoy a guided open water dive at a local site, with your instructor close by at all times.

You can choose to do one dive or add a second dive on the day. We always recommend two dives, as the second is usually more relaxed and enjoyable.

You don’t need to be a strong swimmer, just comfortable in the water and open to trying something new. Your instructor, Alex will be with you every step of the way.

You’ll need to complete a short medical questionnaire and liability form before diving
A minimum of 24 hours is required between finishing your dive and flying or travelling to altitude

No experience is needed for our Discover Scuba Diving experience. We guide you step by step in small groups so you feel comfortable and supported from the very beginning.
Completely normal. Most first-time divers feel a little nervous. That’s why we keep things relaxed, unhurried and personal. We go at your pace and make sure you feel confident before heading deeper.
That’s absolutely fine. We teach you the basics in shallow water first, giving you time to get used to breathing underwater before continuing the dive.
Four people. This keeps the group small, intimate and most importantly safe.
We don’t boast a huge dive centre, and we’re proud of that. Doing things differently is exactly the point.
Through trusted partnerships with some of the best centres and providers on the island, we’re able to offer everything a large operation can, tanks, gas refills, boats, full equipment hire and even gear if you’re looking to buy. You get all the resources, without the conveyor belt feeling.
