You will be required to complete a total of 2 dives plus online theory.

The Enriched Air Nitrox course is designed for certified divers who want to extend their bottom time and reduce nitrogen exposure while diving. You’ll learn how to safely plan and dive using enriched air nitrox, making it an ideal upgrade for repetitive dives, wreck diving, and longer dive days.

Your training focuses on understanding oxygen exposure, analysing Nitrox cylinders, and correctly setting your dive computer.

About The Course

We offer internationally recognised SDI and TDI certifications, allowing you to progress to increased diving depths worldwide once qualified.

Diving in Cyprus offers warm, clear waters and excellent visibility, making it an ideal place to complete your Deep Diver training and put your new skills into practice on local dive sites, including the deeper sections of the Zenobia wreck in Larnaca. Our founder and Zenobia Wreck Expert, Alex, personally leads all courses and diving experiences and holds Elite Instructor status.

  • Experience the benefits of diving with enriched air, also known as Nitrox or EANx, at Pineapple Dive Club. By reducing the amount of nitrogen in your breathing gas compared to normal air, Nitrox allows divers to stay within their no-decompression limits for longer at certain depths, often meaning longer dives and shorter surface intervals.

    Guided by Alex, our founder and Elite Instructor, you’ll learn how Nitrox works, why it can extend dive time, and how to use it safely and confidently. The course is relaxed, informative, and designed to slot naturally into your diving, whether you’re travelling, diving regularly, or looking to get more out of your time underwater in Cyprus.

Enriched Air Nitrox is a breathing gas with a higher oxygen content than normal air. By reducing the amount of nitrogen you breathe, divers can safely stay at certain depths for longer periods without exceeding their decompression limits.

Surface intervals between dives can also be shorter, making Nitrox ideal for repetitive dives and deeper diving.

Training Works

Training is broken down into manageable, easy-to-follow steps. You’ll learn how to analyse Nitrox cylinders, understand oxygen exposure, and correctly set your dive computer.


With small groups or one-to-one instruction, your training adapts to you, not the other way around. There’s no pressure to keep up, only support to move forward comfortably.

  • Our waters range from 18 degrees in the winter right up to 32 degrees in the summer!

  • Yes, we have the latest GoPro and take it on all dives. Once we see your comfortable and relaxed, we will capture some photos and videos for you to remember your experience. We send these to you free of charge!

  • Four people. This keeps the group small, intimate and most importantly safe.

  • We don’t boast a huge dive centre, and we’re proud of that. Doing things differently is exactly the point.

    Some centres advertise a low headline price, then add tax, surcharges or equipment rental when you arrive. It might look cheaper at first glance, but once everything is added on, it rarely is. We prefer to keep things clear from the start, no surprises at checkout.

    Alex completes an annual dive medical to ensure he’s fit to teach and guide, and we maintain up-to-date professional insurance with DAN for added protection and peace of mind. We’re fully registered, qualified and bring years of hands-on experience to every dive and course we run.
